Abstract:

The Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering (ACNS) utilises neutrons from Australia's multi-purpose research reactor, OPAL, to solve complex research and industrial problems for Australian and international users via merit-based access and user-pays programs.  Australia's partnership with Taiwan on neutron beam research is an integral component of the success of ACNS which provides significant value to both countries.

An update will be given on the OPAL reactor and its neutron beam facilities, the status of the neutron beam instruments and supporting capabilities, user & industry engagement program and opportunities for future partnerships.
